Dose, Frequency and RxInstruction in PBM Prior Authorisations and Claims

DATE: 1 DECEMBER 2023

Starting from 1st December 2023 (Transaction Date), in accordance with the DOH circular USO/172/2023 Update Drug Dosage and Frequency Mandatory Submission Requirements, Shafafiya validation rules 82_42, 82_43 and 82_44 will be rejecting any Prior Request and Claim Submission transactions not compliant with related requirements. Healthcare Entities are advised to update relevant systems and start reporting of required observations in transactions as soon as possible to prepare for the DOH Inspector visits.
