Healthcare Guidelines

Built on best practices and in consultation with expert practitioners, Department of Health – Abu Dhabi has developed a series of guidelines for the healthcare sector in Abu Dhabi. The purpose of the guidelines is to assist healthcare professionals in making informed decisions on the delivery of healthcare interventions. These guidelines are not exhaustive, or mandatory, and therefore should not be used to override the responsibility that healthcare professionals have toward their patients. Recommendations set out within the guidelines provide information on how healthcare professionals can improve service delivery, quality, patient safety and patient outcomes.
