DoH to present unparalleled healthcare breakthroughs at Arab Health 2023

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), the regulator of the healthcare sector in the Emirate, is set to showcase Abu Dhabi’s pioneering healthcare model during Arab Health 2023, the MENA region’s leading exhibition for the healthcare industry, taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre from 30 January to 2 February 2023. Under the “Emirates Health” stand, DoH will be participating in the event alongside the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) and Dubai Health Authority (DHA) located in Hall 5, Stand No. H5.B10. 

In this year’s edition of the event, DoH is set to exhibit its latest projects related to digital health, genome and precision medicine programme as well as healthcare ecosystem in the Metaverse and more. Highlighting Abu Dhabi’s future roadmap for transforming healthcare, DoH will present Abu Dhabi’s unparalleled healthcare breakthroughs and unveil collaborations with leading international healthcare bodies. 

DoH visitors will have the chance to learn about the Emirate’s latest healthcare achievements and preview the most recent healthtech innovations including Malaffi, Kawader, Data Disease Registry and Munsha’ati, among other projects that have anchored quality and efficiency across the sector. 

In line with its efforts to reinforce Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading destination for life sciences, the Department’s participation will witness the launch of the Abu Dhabi Life Science Hub in the Metaverse. Through a virtually augmented experience, DoH seeks to create an immersive virtual platform that sheds light on Abu Dhabi’s  most prominent and innovative healthcare services as well as the latest advancements in research, life sciences and digital health.  

The Department’s participation at the exhibition will bring together local and international subject matter experts from the private and public sectors to share lessons, ideas, insights, challenges and opportunities that will shape the future of healthcare around the world as part of a series of panel discussions. Taking place at DoH’s stand, the Department is set to host four panel discussions that will tackle innovation and technology, mental health, sustainability and precision medicine. 

During the event, DoH will initiate partnerships with leading players to boost knowledge and experience sharing that foster excellence and innovation in healthcare to elevate the overall health journey and patient experience in the Emirate. In addition, an esteemed line-up of DoH representatives will take the stage at the Arab Health 2023 Conference as part of the Transformation Talks to shed light on some of the rising priorities in healthcare including digital health and future pandemics. Parallelly, DoH will host a series of workshops to exchange knowledge and expertise with peers in the sector. 

As part of Abu Dhabi’s strategy to drive a knowledge-based economy, DoH will showcase Abu Dhabi birthed technologies from four rising start-ups across the health-tech ecosystem. The start-ups have presented breakthrough solutions.
