The new www.haad.ae website is restructured with focus on HAAD’s customer map, providing single point of information for various customers, the public, healthcare professionals, healthcare facilities, investors, media professionals, and insurance companies, all have a dedicated tab with all relevant information for quick and easy access.

The website was launched by HAAD CEO H.E Eng. Zaid Al Siksek during a special event that was attended by all HAAD employees.

The homepage provides information on current public health programs, latest news from HAAD and a poll with a view to engage site visitors and build feedback on various topics and issues.

H.E Eng. Zaid Al Siksek, CEO of HAAD, said; “the restructured enhanced HAAD website is a commitment from the Authority to provide transparent information and communication within the community we serve. The focus of the website is now on the community and not on the functions of the Authority as it is used to be.”

“We have mapped our customers and taken their input into consideration while redesigning and restructuring the website. We will continue follow this process to ensure that our services meet their requirements.” Al Siksek added.

Health care facilities will be able to locate all related HAAD services (licensing, health audit, and HAAD Computer-Based Testing result), policies and regulations as well as circulars under the health facilities tab.

Similarly, the health care professionals section provides information related to healthcare professionals including licensing requirements, policies and regulations as well as circulars.

The updated e-service tab allows public to find a doctor through HAAD licensed healthcare professionals database, search for insurance products, ask poison and drug information centre and also provides useful health tools like body mass measurements (BMI).

Investors and business owners also have their own tab with information on supply and demand, capacity gaps, reimbursement rates, as well as provider and payer market in the Emirate.

Azza Al Bustani, Web Designer of HAAD said; “we redesigned the website to cater for the community we serve, putting into consideration elements like ease of navigation and access, time spent to obtain information, speed needed to upload the HAAD homepage from different browsers and use of website through different mobile phones and computer tablets.”

HAAD e-publications, a list of all brochures, leaflets, newsletters and more, a communication method introduced by HAAD during Arab health 2011 enabling all HAAD customers and public audience to receive electronic copies to their emails is now a service added to the new HAAD website.

On the sidelines of the website launch, HAAD also honored 65 of its employees who have served at HAAD for 10 years. They were recognized for their role in the development of the Authority and their outstanding contributions to the community.

Al Siksek called on all employees to increase efforts in serving the community and to adopt a principle of ongoing transparency to enhance and improve the level of services provided to the public. H.E. Al Siksek handed shields and certificates of appreciation to the dignitaries.
