Leaders and Representatives from Abu Dhabi’s Healthcare Sector Engage in the “Beauty of Our Minds” Community Experience

H.E. Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), accompanied by key representatives from Abu Dhabi’s healthcare ecosystem, stakeholders, and senior officials from DoH and Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC), visited the “Beauty of Our Minds” interactive community experience at Umm Al Emarat Park.

The visitors, included Shaista Asif, Cofounder & Group CEO of PureHealth, Dimitris Moulavasilis, Group Chief Executive Officer of M42, Rashed Al Qubaisi, Group Chief Corporate Officer at PureHealth, Dr Zain Alyafei, Chief Executive Officer of Sakina, along with representatives from the Family Care Authority, and American Centre for Psychiatry & Neurology, toured the immersive experience, an innovative platform blending art, science, and storytelling to transform how mental health is understood and discussed. Designed to make conversations about mental well-being more open, inclusive and empowering, the activation invites every visitor to see the strength in vulnerability and the beauty in awareness.

Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the DoH said: “Beauty of Our Minds embodies Abu Dhabi’s human-centered approach to healthcare, one that values emotional well-being as deeply as physical health. By connecting people through empathy, creativity, and shared understanding, we are fostering a community where seeking help is celebrated and mental wellness is part of everyday life, with Abu Dhabi leading the way in prioritising mental health and well-being.”

Throughout the tour, the visitors experienced the activation’s sensory and interactive rooms: Here & Now, Whispers of Light, MindPrint, Echoes of Being, and Threads of Us, each crafted to evoke self-reflection, mindfulness, and emotional connection. They also engaged in hands-on activities such as the Gratitude Tree and Speak Up Wall and attended live demonstrations and workshops focusing on stress relief, self-expression, and community dialogue.

Additionally, visitors attended an inspiring session delivered by Dr. Khaled Ghattas, researcher, author and speaker on human behavior, psychology, leadership and personal development, which shed light on the depth of the human mind and how consciousness and awareness can redirect our thoughts.

“The Beauty of Our Minds” experience, now extended to run until November 2nd 2025 at Umm Al Emarat Park’s indoor pavilion, is designed to spark meaningful conversations about mental health, reduce stigma, and equip the community with tools to foster emotional awareness and well-being.
